About The Andes
The Andes is an independent publication by someone who has spent a decade building things for other people — and is now building something for himself.
Written for anyone who has ever felt the gap between the life they're living and the one they meant to build.
Who I Am
My name means a mountain. And its range runs the entire length of one of the last divided nations on Earth — a spine that connects what politics has tried to separate.
I have been fortunate. More than I deserve, some days. Along the way, people from countries I'd barely heard of opened doors I didn't know existed, believed in something in me before I could see it myself, and shaped who I am in ways I'm still uncovering.
I carry that with me. It's not something you put down.
I'm at the age now where gratitude alone isn't enough. Where the only honest response to the opportunities I've been given is to actually do something with them. To stop preparing and start proving — to myself, first.
Now I want to find out what happens when I finally play my own game.
What I Write About
Building in Public — A real-time record of trying to build something of my own. The decisions, the doubts, the small wins and the setbacks — written as they happen, not after the fact.
Side Hustle Lab — Every experiment documented in real time. What moved, what failed, what it actually cost and made. No retrospective gloss.
Global BD & Sales — What the inside of a deal really looks like. The silences, the pivots, the things that close rooms and the things that open them. The version they don't put in case studies.
Korea Insider — A country the world thinks it understands and largely doesn't. Business, culture, and the gap between the two — from someone who has lived on both sides of it.
The Mountain Stories — The personal thread running beneath everything else. Where all of this begins and, eventually, where it leads.
